Wonderful newborns! An artful image of a nude baby can accentuate their newness.
Babies feel comfortable in Mom or Dad’s arms; these portraits tend to be a favorite.
When to photograph a baby?
Best to photograph is the first 2 weeks if it is possible.
Babies at 3 months old can smile and will have the ability to lift and hold their head.
Babies at 6 months can seat without assistance, and they can show some baby teeth.
Babies at 1 year old can stand or even walk.
All of these are milestones for your new baby and is a wonderful thing to have as a keepsake photos that you and your family will enjoy for generations.
What to wear?
Simple clothing is the best or just a diaper/nude, often good to bring a fresh change of outfit with you. Avoid clothing with pronounced stripes, patterns or vivid colors, they distract from your baby. Little accessories are great and simple to ad to the image and create a new look (favorite blankets, toys, hats).
What happens if my baby cries or fussy?
Babies are unpredictable. Don’t worry about it. Make sure you have food or a toy/teddy to comfort the baby.
If it gets really bad we would reschedule for another time (no additional fee).
Children's Portraits
The usual purpose of children's photography is to capture the child at each year since they grow and change very quickly. Children's portrait should be fun and
exciting and it can look very casual or formal. I like to photograph candid and playful so it can show their personalities in the images. Families love to have pictures of
their children and these pictures make excellent gifts.
What to wear?
It is best to keep clothing simple. Kids that are comfortable in their clothing are usually happy and easy to work with. You can bring other outfits and accessories for
your child to change in to and use.
